2009 august adventure in thailand – day 3

this day was our last day and we decided to see the landmark of Thailand

A must-see sight that no visit to Bangkok would be complete without, it’s the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city’s most famous landmark…

the afternoon was spent shopping in MBK….

2009 august adventure in thailand – day 2 – ayutthaya tour

as per my research for this thailand tour, this is a must see place, it was all worth it, though we had to travel extra miles from bangkok city.

we had a full day tour to enjoy the ruins and this place — its an ancient capital and modern city in the Central Plains of Thailand, 85 km north of Bangkok.

here are some worthwhile photos to share…and meeting new friends was a plus, hi to sam and bea!

during the night we had to see patpong night market and buy some souveneir items, and observe how ping-pong was done, but it was too late and we did not watch the show anymore.

2009 august adventure in thailand – day 1 – bday bash

i just felt a need to be back to blogging. here are some of the photos during our bangkok tour on my bday.

we really had fun

day 1

after airport arrival,  we booked at airport agency and  took package to wat pho  (known as temple of the reclining buddha) is a Buddhist temple in Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok, Thailand, located in the Rattanakosin district directly adjacent to the Grand Palace.

of course, we had to check in first at Holiday Inn Silom and had breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

my bday was completed with a dinner cruise in Chaophraya River, night with a band, dancing, fireworks and international buffet while cruising the city of Bangkok river.

The first day was all worth it with the day of my bday celebration.
