my intervention

Another weekend had passed so I and hubby decided to use the vouchers that i redeemed during our lucky draw last staff day that we had in Singapore Turf Club.

We went to OG Orchard and checked out which items I can avail….Of course, with SGD 100, we would need to top up more to buy items which I would want to have.

My ripcurl watch reached its years of extinction even if I kept on changing battery. So I decided to buy sporty watch instead and ended up buying from Nike. Syempre ayaw ko naman ng super mahal ang add ons ko sa voucher…kaya I settled for cheaper ones….but I also ended up buying another stuff to add to my perfume collection.

27 dresses

I have always loved weddings…and the same reason why I loved the movie 27 dresses.

Hubby was so good that even if he is not in the mood watching this romantic movies, he still did accompany me though some of our friends watched the movie Rambo from the other cinema….

A comedy romance movie which stars Katherine Heigl who I personally like…

So here’s the gist:

Katherine Heigl played the role of Jane….a lady who has been 27times all her life enjoying to be a bridesmade….she finds it one among the happiest day of their life and would always want to be part of it.

She worked as personal assistant to her boss George, played by Edward Burns whom she is madly in love with but kept that feeling as a secret. Until her younger sister Tess, played by Malin Akerman, came into New York and captured George’s heart leading him to have a good proposal and of course, as expected she became the wedding planner, until a meddling wedding reporter, Kevin played by James Marden, who turns the love triangle into a square makes thing turn very ugly.

Though I found the movie doesn’t seem to have the usual excitement that I am expecting, I had fun watching it though to suffice my unwinding movie weekend!

hectic week

this week have been so hectic for me.

i have been going back home so late recently even haggling to catch the 8pm company shuttle.

sometimes, it tend to be tiring, i was supposed to have my off-in-lieu but then since it was super busy, i decided to offset next time again….

even my saturday was super busy since my supervisor had urgent leave…so i need to take over the work…imagined having gone home at 4pm…parang regular working day na rin.

in order to get rid of my stressors, i wanted to satisfy my taste buds with pinoy food which i have been craving since thursday. so off we went to jologs and had the lunch and dinner in 1. i had bulalo while hubby had sizzling tilapia, though i was really craving for rellenong bangus, sana yun na lang pala…

also found a sale at U.R.S. in Katong Mall and grabbed 2 pairs of shoes at a very reasonable price.

sigh!………………such a good  riddance…shopping makes me happy…

could have rested for even a day!

food cravings…

Been in Singapore for 6months already but never been to Jologs. …It  is a Filipino bistro under the umbrella of Café Calle Real and have 2 outlets in Singapore now, 1 in Lucky Plaza and 1 in East Coast.

jologs

Last Sunday, I with pinoy friends craved for Pinoy dishes after attending the mass. We rushed to Lucky Plaza and saw that all seats were taken, since we are all craving for our very own dishes, we waited til we had our seats after patiently waiting  for almost 30minutes. Inaliw na lang namin sarili namin…by making fun of the pictures in the studio beside the bistro.

I had tapsilog and palabok! (super yummy for me!) sobra ko lang talaga siguro na miss yung dish na sariling atin….of course i miss my mom’s recipes as well.

busy as a bee!

I was so happy since month of January came in, I seldom stayed office late…but today, it seemed that it started the week, to  be so very busy as a bee!

Omg! Super busy to the max that I even forgot to somehow pee….magkakaroon pa yata ako UTI, kakapigil kasi nga ang daming work….pag hindi lang super weewee na ako eh hindi ko puputulin work ko.

Even my phone just didn’t stop bothering me….reading my emails alone can consume much of my work….grabe, bawat reply and send tapos when it receives dami ulit…I ended up working until 8pm and tried to catch the last bus at work.

Haay, I just hope tomorrow will not be so much busy though.

I am also being offered by my boss to take my off in lieu this Thursday.  I was still feeling so sleepy, its a good thing, i was too busy to have a thought of sleepyhead effect since we got home from Jen’s place and nag inuman after the mass.
