ten ten te ten!

happy anniv to w@w (weddings at work — a community for soon to be weds)…our only pillar during our wedding preps…its been 4 years since we got married… and until now, i’m a proud to be a w@wie and n@wie…

we owe a lot from this community, cyberfriendships has been built….until now, i got friends who remain to be in contact with me though distance separates us…. suppliers turned friends….

again, of course, thanks to mama benz and papa john for coming up with this pinoy based wedding website.

new samie

its been a year already and i don’t want my handphone anymore.  i have new baby and her name is samie named after samsung.

finally, the contract is thru so i can have my new handphone set again. i needed to have a plan in order for me to have reimbursement of handphone claims.

anyway, in order to get rid of my k810i, i swapped it with samsung f480…it was a touch screen phone…and i am starting to love it.

33rd year of existence

muchos gracias to those who shared my 33rd year of existence.

among those people i have invited 5 lang hindi nakarating, all in all 36 pala ang guests kong dumating….

it was fun and i’m so happy. aside from me having to serve what i cooked, of course, pansit c/o my kumareng dhey… the rest masarap daw…(baka gutom lang sila — or wala sila choice kasi bday ko, kaya dapat masarap daw!)

i was really glad kasi 5 people lang hindi nakarating sa mga ininvite ko.

i had 4 cakes – black forest cake from my hubby, chocolate mousse from blk 53 friends, swirly strawberry cheesecake from abi and mini cupcakes from bea.

i really had fun and thanks for those who shared my 33rd day of existence.

SATC fanatic…

i’m a self confessed fanatic of S.A.T.C.

my younger sistah is more than that of a fan for she has the CD Collection of the Series and while we were in the Philippines, we would do movie marathon together even watching it repeatedly…we still feel the same kilig and enjoyment in watching it.

syempre, i wouldn’t want to miss this chance of watching the movie.

it was worth every penny for it was nearly a 3hour movie….and i loved it….

it was all about friendship , relationship, family and most of all, L.O.V.E.  everyone who will watch it can relate to each character that the 4 ladies portrayed, having known them from the tv series made me love them even more after watching the movie.

Among the things I love was seeing their lives in New York and Manhattan…the big closet, the penthouse, the diamond ring in auction, gucci and louis vuitton bags…and seeing mexico!

Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) – my fave character,  charming petite columnist…. ….has her  weekly column,  the girlfriend of Big or John…in this movie, i loved every bit of the scenes wherein they feature the wedding plans of her and Mr. Big, syempre, i love weddings….that’s why i watched this movie as well.

Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) – The blonde actress who plays a big role in the movie, a man-eater and can easily go and have sex with anyone she meets…..without her, there won’t be “the life and lust” that the movie can entail. she’s the biatch and MILF …

Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) – The old fashioned rich lady with high morale, trying to blend with the other ladies,  more than a family-oriented type but can really crack and make the scenes, especially shitting on her own undies. you will feel the love in her role especially that she had Baby Rose in this movie.

Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) – The cynical lawyer. The one who has lesser sex in her life even if she got her hubby and kiddo…and broke up with her hubby bec he slept with another girl.

first year in singapore

time flies so fast, we have turned our first year in singapore today…

we have reached our milestone that we had to be away from our families back home and working in another country just to be able to reach our dreams….

thank God for such a wonderful and safe year that we have been here.

so far, we didn’t have serious sickness, never had too much leave from work, which means i got enough leave to take when i go back to Pinas this December.

hubby had a good job as well and i am also having a stable job and they just renewed my employment pass again for another 2 more years.

hay! though i’m in the midst of adjusting due to heavy workloads, i know that God will help me get used to it and that i will have the fulfillment of my dreams soon….parang tuloy i wanted to be a nurse already….hahahah!

ewan mixed nuts pa ang utak ko….i’ll do some of the research and maybe end of with a wiser decision by mid of the year….

it was also celebrated with some of our friends na kumupkop sa amin during our first stay in Singapore, Thanks to Aaron and Angela….together with another newcomer friend, Norman na parang welcome party na nya…

movie date and shopaholic addictus nature

it was a long holiday for almost everyone but not for me…

i had saturday work and hubby don’t have….

a pity to wake up after a friday off…kainis di ba.  so at 1pm, umalis na ako office.

hubby went to meet me at tampines to have our lunch together.  we decided to stroll along bugis to do some window shopping…

but i ended up buying a new pair of shoes from everlast again and a skirt for this summer….preferred ni hubby yung skirt eh.

we were supposed to go and take pictures at botanical garden but rain poured so heavily…..

we decided to watch a movie instead and “Horton” made us smile and good unwinding experience for the weekend…

then we had our dinner at sushi restaurant which is better than Sakae kasi SGD 99 per plate….pero when it comes to drink, di tulad ng Sakae pa din….

holy week`

its our first time to celebrate holy week in singapore. they aren’t as religious as pinoys.

bukas ang malls though holiday ng march 21…. ang mga tao wala lang parang wala special affair to celebrate.

i and hubby went to pray to the church near our place at night….and went out at interchange to pay my telephone bills and had our dinner.

not that much….the holiday just passed by as if nothing has happened. its just time to reflect and make life better…and to remember how Christ gave his life to save us…syempre i had my share of doing the station of the cross pa rin.

…love is in the air~

…i know every person wanted to love and be loved. this can be witnessed especially during this occasion wherein love is really in the air wherever you go….

now that we both live apart from our families, we feel closer realizing each others worth and strengthening the bond of our love…though sometimes, there are petty arguments, which is part in nurturing our relationship. we now feel more closer and have been matured enough to accept each others flaws.

truly, my world wouldn’t be complete without him around me, my confidante, bestfriend and husband who takes good care of me…happy valentine’s day!

this is my debut entry for the Tuesdays “Head or Tails”

just a good timing for the upcoming occasion for lovers, i would want to post this Love~lier Tuesday picture…expressed love during our big ” I do” day.

everyone felt that love was in the air, I myself can’t contain and explain what I was feeling at that moment, its just like feeling high… as if walking above the clouds because of happiness…our wedding…tying the knot with the man I adore!

food cravings…

Been in Singapore for 6months already but never been to Jologs. …It  is a Filipino bistro under the umbrella of Café Calle Real and have 2 outlets in Singapore now, 1 in Lucky Plaza and 1 in East Coast.

Last Sunday, I with pinoy friends craved for Pinoy dishes after attending the mass. We rushed to Lucky Plaza and saw that all seats were taken, since we are all craving for our very own dishes, we waited til we had our seats after patiently waiting  for almost 30minutes. Inaliw na lang namin sarili namin…by making fun of the pictures in the studio beside the bistro.

I had tapsilog and palabok! (super yummy for me!) sobra ko lang talaga siguro na miss yung dish na sariling atin….of course i miss my mom’s recipes as well.
